I was playing with some of my new colors today. I'm not sure how I feel about the final result but I was struck with a book idea and added a bit of text in Paintshop for giggles. Whadda ya think?

I love it! I was sad, at first, when I saw the words because it limited my ability to imagine who these characters were. However, as I read it and looked at it more, I realized that the words made the people jump off the page. And instead of some vague adult/child combo, they now have names and seem so much more real. I think inserting the words was risky...but it definitely paid off. Brilliant, as always.
