The first two months

How do you survive when you have two newborns?

  1. Get tons of help from family. (thank God)
  2. Get dinners from Pud’s preschool. (so awesome)
  3. Read (love the iphone kindle app. and stanza)
    a. 18 books total — eight and a half fantasies by robin hobb, two dean koontz, two neil gaiman, one steven king, two jane austen, one book of greek myths, one grimms fairy tales and one book of celtic fairytales.
  4. Draw a few sketches (will share later)
  5. Get an email of interest from an editor. (subdued woot)

they’re here and i’m back.

Randomness

Sunday, February 22nd, 2009

Phew. We have moved, had an awesome baby shower and are now trying to get ready for the boys. I am sometimes overwhelemed by the prospect of going from one child (a potty trained one at that) to three and I let myself get overwhemed. But yesterday, I decided to remain calm and deal with everyday as its own day.

We have started a website re-design, I just need to draw a few things to spice it up. (it might help to plug in the scanner)

In illo news, I have a commision from a lovely lady in Spain that I’m sketching.

Around April (boys are due mid-April) I plan to take a real but temporary break from the blog and website. Hopefully it will be short and I’ll be able to come back in a few months refreshed and ready to create new and better stuff.

Hilarious!

Not feeling creative? Feeling stifled, bored with your work, out of ideas and time? Feeling discouraged by a year that went nowhere in terms of your art? Afraid you can’t balance two baby boys, a preschooler and anything creative? (that’s probably just me)

If so take a lookie here. Jarret J Krosoczka has done it again!

Making of a Monkey Man
