Just a quickie in my watercolor moleskin. (a great gift from my sister-in-law)

We’re re-doing the website and I wanted to create an image for the welcome page. I decided to try to re-do my latest piece. I think it is not quite there but it sure did feel good to paint.

 

It always takes me a week to recover from vacation. With unpacking and grocery shopping and navigating the world of twindom, it’s almost a bummer week. But laundry gets washed, babies sleep for four hours, I am able to draw and the sun shines with cool breezes yet again.

One (surprisingly easy) 6 hour car drive (with only 2 breaks)
yesterday allowed me to wake up to this view this morning.
