Just to explain my odd “thought process”
Some members of our family, not sure who, think that the expiration date on the milk is a magic date where it instantly goes bad, so they rush to finish it the day before 
That would be so awful to start eating cereal with milk that expired!
oh oh, someone is either about to have a nasty surprise, or, like you say, the date has nothing “magic” about it and the milk is just fine.
I love all of them! Keep up the great work.
